Calling Notice of the 2011 Asian Ski Mountaineering Festival

Dear Friends,

In order to promote ski mountaineering in Asia, we have the pleasure to invite you to attend the 2011 Asian Ski Mountaineering Festival in Beidahu Ski Resort, <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />Jilin, China, from March 7^th to 11^th, 2011.

This festival is sponsored by Asian Ski Mountaineering Federation and Chinese Mountaineering Association, organized by Beidahu Sports and Tourism Economic Development Area, co-organized by Beidahu Ski Resort.

The main topics of this festival will be training, exchange and competition. The training courses include the following items: route setting, equipment operating, ski mountaineering skills, mountain rescue and judgment. The competition will be arranged according the racers’ level, and the participants will further understand the skills and make progress on composite abilities on ski mountaineering.

The airfare and transportation fee will on own cost of the participants, the board and lodging will be offered by the organizing committee.
